Yellow Pearls is a multimedia zine series for Asian American femmes to heal, rage, and care for community. “Yellow Pearls Issue #2: Channeling Rage” features research, activities, and interviews with Yumi Sakugawa, LA based interdisciplinary artist and self-help author, and Jumakae, a CA based artistwho guides generational healing work through storytelling, coaching, and ritual.

Samantha Skinner is the zine creator, a multimedia producer based in Brooklyn with ancestry from Korea and Texas. She brings her background in social impact producing, documentary film, and mental health advocacy to this project.
